"Jesus found me at the Grace House. Being an atheist most of my life, I was never able to experience freedom from my alcoholism and addiction that my soul was longing for. I thought that I was smart enough to figure out another solution that wasn't God and AA. After years of trying to get sober and failing time and time again, I was tired. Tired of fighting, tired of hurting my family, and tired of running from God. My life had no meaning or purpose. I told my family I was desperate and for the first time I had the willingness to go anywhere they wanted me to. My mom found Grace House and my new life started the day I walked through the doors. I learned how to live at Grace House. I learned how to support myself and to take responsibility for my decisions and mistakes. I learned how to love myself and be the daughter, sister, and friend my loved ones deserved. I learned how to accept the love of Jesus and gave my life to Him and the service of other people. Your life will change in this house. There is no way it can't. My life and the lives of countless women and their families are a testimony to the transformation that takes place at Grace House. Give yourself a chance, you deserve it."

"Drugs and alcohol consumed my life before I came to the Grace House. I tried to stop multiple times on my own, but I failed every time. My life was miserable. I was without a job, and I had pushed my friends and family away. I felt my life had no purpose, and I was starting to accept that I was going to be miserable forever. I came to the Grace House in 2014. The ladies here loved me until I could love myself. By the grace of God and this program the obsession was lifted from me to want to drink or use drugs. I learned how to hold a job, pay my bills, and be a responsible young adult. I am so very grateful for Linda opening the Grace House and giving me and many other women a second chance at life. Today I am in school and have been blessed to work at the Grace House and give back what was given to me. I love my life, I am truly happy, and I never could have imagined that before getting clean and sober thanks to the Grace House."
